{"id":229,"date":"2021-05-29T20:12:16","date_gmt":"2021-05-29T19:12:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.earithpreschool.co.uk\/?page_id=229"},"modified":"2023-01-27T14:52:36","modified_gmt":"2023-01-27T14:52:36","slug":"committee","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.earithpreschool.co.uk\/?page_id=229","title":{"rendered":"Committee"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Committee&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Earith Pre-School7 is run by a committee of volunteers, including parents, the staff and members of the local community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The committee&nbsp;hold committee meetings every half term which are normally held at the pre-school in the evening or at a members house if it is during the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Joining the committee&nbsp;allows members to gain an understanding of the legal, financial and educational processes involved in running the pre-school. Our role is that of strategic management, we delegate the day to day management to the pre-school manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Committee officers have a term of office of one year, but may serve more than this if they are re-elected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You can make a difference<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are interested in being part of the committee please contact us on 01487 841478, or by emailing us at earithpreschool7@aol.co.uk . Being part of the committee is a great way to take an active role in the pre-school and your child&#8217;s early years development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Committee roles and what we do:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Chairperson:&nbsp;<\/strong>Contact person for&nbsp;Ofsted and the Pre-school Learning Alliance (PLA), chairs meetings and carries out the Manager&#8217;s supervisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Treasurer:&nbsp;<\/strong>Oversees all financial transactions (invoices, payroll) and produces the annual financial statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Secretary<\/strong>: Takes the minutes of meetings and distributes them to the manager and committee&nbsp;and writes letters on behalf of the committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Fundraising Members<\/strong>: Organise fundraising events and dream up new ways of bringing extra funds into the pre-school for all those little extras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>General Committee Members<\/strong>: attend meetings, offer&nbsp;suggestions and advice, help out at fundraising and other events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Why not join us as a general member and see what it&#8217;s all about before taking on a specific role?<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Committee&nbsp; Earith Pre-School7 is run by a committee of volunteers, including parents, the staff and members of the local community.
